D440B Drilling Rig With Anti-Jamming System 312l/S Diesel Engine 16m3/Min Air Compressor

The D440 series drilling rigs are one of the most compact and lightweight closed cabin drilling rigs available. Small dimensions and a weight of 13,500 kg allow you to confidently work in limited areas with difficult terrain. The maneuverable tracked chassis ensures movement and operation on longitudinal slopes of up to 30° and transverse slopes of up to 10°. Despite its small size, the D440B is seriously equipped: a 4" diameter hammer allows drilling wells with a diameter of 130 mm and a depth of up to 21 meters.

Most drilling operations are automated and do not require the driller to leave the cab while working. This makes this drilling rig ideal for Russian weather conditions. Convenient control joysticks, thoughtful ergonomics of the workplace and excellent visibility allow the operator to work for a long time and with minimal fatigue. The cabin is protected from external influences (FOPS).

The supply and replacement of drill rods from the drum mechanism occurs automatically (RHS); when equipped, the installation carries 7 rods, each 3 meters long. To protect drill rods from destruction, the D440B, like other models, is equipped with an anti-jamming system.

The power plant is a turbocharged and water-cooled diesel engine with a capacity of 312 l/s. The engine drives the air compressor and hydraulic pump.

The productivity of the screw air compressor is 16 m3 of air per minute (267 l/sec) at a pressure of 17 bar. Dust removed from the well is retained by a dual-circuit filtration system. The hydraulic pump ensures rotation of the drill string (up to 110 rpm), as well as movement of the installation (3 km/h).

The hydraulic rotator transmits a torque of 2800 Nm to the drill string. The lifting force of 31 kN is sufficient to confidently lift the drill string even in fractured rocks or soft formations.
